My Dublin based client has a vacancy for a Senior User Interface Designer |
Job description |
Responsibilities:
· Analyse and evaluate design specifications from a technical perspective.
· Develop new creative directions and user experiences.
· Apply user interaction principles, demonstrating an accomplished understanding of usability best practice.
· Deliver user interface specifications and user interface components for new products and new features.
· Report regularly on project progress to key team members.
· Design conceptual storyboards and interface demos to communicate interaction and design ideas.
· Translate Business and Marketing requirements into compelling and usable Interfaces
Your profile:
· Relevant Degree or Diploma
· Significant experience with graphic design tools incl. PhotoShop, Microsoft Expression suite.
· Strong understanding of best practice for creating user interface experiences in commercial software products.
· Superior design skills with an enthusiasm for new and emerging technologies.
· Working knowledge of Web technologies such as HTML, HTTP, RSS and AJAX and Web Services technologies incl. XML, SOAP & WSDL.
· Experience with Silverlight, XAML, Flash or Flex would be highly desirable.
· Familiarity with .NET and C#, .NET - preferably Framework 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5.
· Excellent innovative, critical thinking & problem solving abilities.
· Display a detail- and process-oriented approach.
· Capability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
· Good understanding of SDLC.
