My Galway based client has a contract for a Learning and Development Specialist:
Duties & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver internal training courses for all functions across the Galway site. Working with Functional leaders identify functional and site learning needs and provide input into Global L&D Needs Assessment. Plan Learning & Development calendar and ensure that training is delivered Source external training vendors to deliver programmes internally Source external training for academic and non-academic Support Talent Management through appropriate training interventions. Evaluate training initiatives and continuously improve the evaluation process. Support community involvement/corporate citizenship programmes, e.g.: Junior Achievement programme. Work to continuously improve Learning & Development initiatives through benchmarking and an analysis of Best Practices in the industry. Work with global project teams on Global L&D initiatives Support Corporate initiatives and programmes, e.g. Core Behaviours, Diversity & Inclusion. Continuously seek opportunity for external accreditation of processes & practices
Qualifications The Ideal Candidate will possess a relevant Third Level Qualification in HR, Training or an associated discipline Experience in training delivery, presentation skills and coaching / mentoring is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with excellent organizational skills.
