Position: Business Partner Support Team Manager Type: full-time and permanent Location: Galway Salary: depending on experience
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Team Manager to join a world class organisation that provides an excellent work environment and scope to progress within the company.
The job: Your team provides ongoing support to Business Partners in order to enhance their performance in all their operational areas. Your duties will include:
- Manage, develop and motivate a multinational team through hands-on operational support, monthly 1-to-1 meetings and the implementation of performance improvement plans
- Resource management, to include staff rostering, CV screening and conducting interviews
- Act as main point of contact for Business Partners in relation to escalated issues and complaints
- Ongoing review of operational processes and procedures, and implementing improvements in line with ISO standards where necessary
The requirements:
- Native level of English, a second European language is an advantage
- 3rd level degree in a business related discipline
- 5+ years experience in a Team Lead/Manager role in a shared service environment
- Excellent people management and effective communication skills, as well as strong ability to work under pressure and towards deadlines
- Available and willing to work in shifts in order to service foreign markets
