Position: Project / Team Manager - German
Type: full-time and permanent
Location: Galway
Salary: depending on experience

The job:
Your team provides ongoing support to Germany-based Business Partners in order to enhance their performance in all their operational areas. Driving the team's performance, your duties will include:

• Lead, develop and motivate a multinational team through hands-on operational support, monthly 1-to-1 meetings and the implementation of performance improvement plans
• Resource management, to include staff rostering, CV screening and conducting interviews
• Act as main point of contact for Business Partners in relation to escalated issues and complaints
• Ongoing review of operational processes and procedures, and implementing improvements in line with ISO standards where necessary

The requirements:

• Fluent German and English
• 3rd level degree in a business related discipline
• Min 5 years experience in a Project / Team Management role, ideally within a shared service environment and coming from the IT industry
• Excellent people management and effective communication skills, as well as strong ability to work under pressure and towards deadlines
• Available and willing to work in shifts in order to service foreign markets
