Job: Full Stack Ruby Developer

Location: Wicklow based

The offices are located about 30 minutes from Dublin, commuting is against the traffic so this opportunity might suit someone who is living locally in Wicklow and currently commuting to Dublin or of course living in Dublin and happy to commute against the traffic. After an initial bedding in period, the company will also consider flexi working hours and remote working.

Job Profile

Responsible for the design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code for the company’s core App.

You will have a thorough understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.

You will work equally well with back and front-end development, API, Web Apps, understand UI and UX, Database schema design and management, Integration, Response times, Security

The platform is built on Ruby on Rails infrastructure across native iOS and Android applications, as well as a Web application using React.js front-end development.

Once established you will help build the development team.

The role will quickly move to management and CTO level based on the company’s and individual’s progress.

Candidate profile

Preferably a degree in Computing/Web Development or similar

Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in web apps development including some exposure to full stack, scalability.

Experience in Ruby on Rails, React.js, CSS, HTML, JavaScript and API development. Experience using heroku would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic to contribute to the overall future vision of the company.
