Description
Primary duty is to provide onsite, telephone and remote support mainly to greater Dublin based clients. Most work will be on customer site with limited time being spent in Head office in Wicklow so Dublin home based engineer would be logistically more convenient.
The job will require the following:
Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in similar role
Hold relevant industry certification
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to think and react fast.
Patience and understanding of User environment.
Need In-depth knowledge of the following.
MS Windows Server 2003, 2008 both Standard and SBS.
Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8 (8.1).
MS Office applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Firewalls, anti-virus, ActiveX
In depth knowledge of TCP, VPNs and ADSL. e. Virus removal. RegEdit
Backup Systems
Strong networking knowledge
Microsoft Exchange including smtp and pop 3
Full clean driving license is essential
Fluent English is essential
