Our client is an Irish software company that builds product solutions for e-commerce businesses of all sizes and is looking for a Junior Sales Executive to work in a Business Development role to find business opportunities for the company. 

The successful candidate will be largely responsible for the expansion of their customer base. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with real ambition to make a huge contribution to the future success of a company destined to be one of the next Dublin based Tech Giants.


The role will include:

  • Prospect, nurture and locate prospects for the entire suite of products
  • Research accounts and generate leads, identifying key players, generating interest and developing accounts to stimulate opportunities
  • Manage lists of inbound and outbound prospects for lead generation
  • Work as part of a small team to achieve company objectives
  • Become a trusted resource and develop initial relationships with prospects
  • Interact with prospects via telephone/web conference (primarily) and email
  • An ability to report on and communicate effectively to management on your work
  • Work closely with Marketing & Sales teams to understand the prospects business drivers and to find those prospects
  • Make our sales team successful!

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ Business Development experience with a technology or SaaS company, ideally in a call centre type environment would be ideal
  • English native level fluency is required. Second European language would be an advantage but not a prerequisite
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and business development at multiple executive levels within an organization
  • Pre-call planning and time management skills
  • Call structure and control
  • Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • The highest level of integrity
