Enthusiastic secretary needed for a busy expanding law firm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors and staff members in a positive and friendly and professional manner.
  • Assisting individuals with queries.
  • Announcing clients as and when necessary.
  • Maintaining company security by issuing, checking and collecting work IDs, and/or updating visitor logs.
  • Ensuring meetings are booked when applicable.
  • Answering the phone promptly and responding to emails.
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Helping colleagues to complete administration tasks.

Other Duties:

  • Ordering office stationery and monitoring stock.
  • Light office maintenance when needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 yr's experience in a similar position is required to be considered for this position
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive work attitude
  • Telephone and listening skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • A trustworthy nature as you may be handling sensitive information.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Extremely well-organised with terrific time management skills.
  • The ability to multitask effectively.
