Sales and Marketing
Our Client is a well-established distributor of small machinery (domestic and commercial). They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to manage and develop a mix of commercial clients and a dealer network.
Responsibilities and Duties
This is a field bases sales role and will work with the national sales manager to further develop the dealer network in the territory. This will include identifying, qualifying and appointing new dealers/agents as well as working with existing dealers to increase business levels and acquire the best possible real estate proposition for product display in each dealer showroom. This is not a job for an "order taker". We are looking for someone who is driven by revenue growth and has real influencing skills when it comes to client relationships.
You will also be responsible for selling commercial products direct to contractors and local authorities. Good relationship building skills are essential as well as the ability to organise and deliver the best product demonstrations.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must have relevant field sales skills and have worked in a similar field sales role for a distribution type company. Previous experience working with a dealer (re-seller) network is essential as is experience with similar product lines (Tools/Equipment, Garden Machinery etc.). The ability to quickly build technical product knowledge in a technical environment is very important.
Full driving licence is essential
Competitive Basic Salary and OTE
