Our client is an Irish company, specialising in Electronic Document Management and document scanning solutions. With offices in both Ireland and the UK they offer a range of powerful, flexible, scalable, yet affordable document management / document scanning solutions to both small and large businesses across all industries.

Due to continued expansion they are looking for an experienced software support executive to provide best in class technical support to key customers and supply immediate resolution where possible. Customer base would range from typical SMEs to major financial institutions so excellent customer awareness is essential with the ability to deal with customers at all levels.

Salary: €35-40K DOE

Objectives of the Job

• Work alongside other team members on the delivery of ei/Trax document management system and associated products for our clients

• Will be expected to work largely under their own initiative within agreed guidelines and policy

• Reports to a Team Leader within the Organisation receiving advice and guidance on overall policy and direction

Range of Duties

• Responsible for the setup, implementation and training on the ei/Trax range of products

• Project management of new client projects

• Assist with the day-to-day support queries from our customer base

• Provide supporting paperwork / documentation when required

• Work in conjunction with various ERP Suppliers supporting integration

• Responsible for swift escalation and resolution of support issues where necessary

• Assisting with the bug tracking, testing & roll out of our internal developed software

• Upkeep of licence application

• Assist in the creation and roll out of support processes

• Work with clients through their business processes to support their system and identify potential enhancements

• Assist with the writing and distribution of detailed user documentation and manuals for clients

• Remain up-skilled in any new internal or 3rd party products as necessary

• Assist in establishing good practices and processes to aid the business

Desirable Experience

• Implementation Skills

• Technical support experience

• Software development life cycle knowledge bug tracking

• Networking Knowledge

• Knowledge of all Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, MS SQL Server, Terminal Services, Citrix, reporting packages

• Good knowledge of SQL (Microsoft certification an advantage)

• Experience of document management software

• Knowledge of ERP systems an advantage , SAP, Navision, Sage 50, 200

• Genuine interest in Technology, Web , Mobile, Cloud

• Full clean driving licence

Candidates should have an excellent understanding of windows operating systems, networks and server technology. Candidates must have strong SQL skills and knowledge of networks. Excellent people skills are essential.
