Job Profile

You will work with the SME Management team and you will be responsible for developing business opportunities from our existing customer base within the Medium Enterprise Business sector. You will focus on uncovering, developing and leading new business opportunities. You will work in close collaboration to support and assist the Account Managers while also working cross functionally with Product, Pre-Sales, Project Management, Learning & Development and Service Support.

This is a Senior Technical Sales role that requires someone with a track record in consulting with Business Customers in IP Telephony, Networking, Connectivity, Enterprise Mobility while also having as a strong understanding of the Customer buying cycle.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
Support SME Management in forecasting and planning across Medium Enterprise Business sector
Develop actionable sales plans across both Medium Business teams
Pursue, meet and exceed individual quarterly sales targets while being accountable for overall Medium Business target
Support Account Managers in selling the ICT portfolio mainly IP Telephony, Managed Networks and Connectivity, Enterprise Mobility
Prepare and present presentations as required for customers and internal management
Differentiating value proposition compared to our competitors
Working with other teams across the business spectrum delivering internal and external customer needs analysis
Use your experience and influence to help the Business Solution Manager develop an effective technical sales team
Self-generate, lead and develop opportunities within the assigned portfolio and business segment
Track and report performance via Salesforce

Candidate profile
• Degree qualification or above in business or telecommunications discipline desirable and/or strong sales experience in a medium to large sized customer facing technical sales role across WAN, LAN and VoIP within the Irish market

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales preferable telecoms/ICT with proven skills directly managing the full sales life cycle
    • Hold a valid Cisco certification in any Cisco Associate stream
    • Experienced in xDSL, PSTN & PRI services from sales to internal handling processes
    • High energy, self-motivated individual with a positive record in sales over achievement
    • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
    • Ability to work within a team environment
    • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
    • Strong commercial acumen coupled with flexibility to a changing market environment
    • Ability to influence and mobilise others to undertake and continuously change for the better good of the business
  • Experience using CRM
    • A full clean driving licence for the role is required
