Collection of your personal data

In order to service you as a candidate, we collect personal details from you. These details may include names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, education, employment history, CVs and any other information required to provide you with job placement services. It should be noted that these details are provided by you either through your personal user account or via a job application form. If personal details are submitted by setting up a personal user account then you have full control of that account and your personal information. In any evet, we rely on you for accuracy of the data you provide.

How we use your data.

Myjob will only use your data for the specific purpose you provided it i.e. to assist you in finding suitable employment or in relation to your application for a specific job. Your personal data will only be disclosed to potential employers at your expressed direction using the “opt in” feature on your user account. Your details may also be disclosed to contracted companies who act as “data processors” for Myjob. These third party data processors provide us with systems and services to assist us in delivering the best possible job placement service to you. These third parties may not use your personal data for any reason what so ever other than assisting us in proving these services to you. The personal information you share with us will never be sold or shared with other parties for the purpose of selling or marketing to you.

Security of the personal data you provide.

Myjob are committed to the safeguarding of your personal data. We take our security responsibilities seriously, employing the most appropriate physical and technical measures, including staff training and awareness and we review these measures regularly.

Accuracy of your personal data

As a user of Myjob you will have set up a personal user account to allow you to keep all personal information current and up to date. We rely on your input to this on a regular basis. If your personal data changes please login to your account and amend accordingly. Should you forget your password then you can use password recovery feature to recover same.

Your Right of Access.

You have full access to your personal information through your personal user account using your unique login details, You also have a right to make a Subject Access Request (SAR) relating to your personal data. Should you wish to make an SAR you should do so in writing or by email marked for the attention of “The Data Controller”. To ensure the security of your personal data you must provide proof of identity with the request. Should we not be satisfied with the proof of identity supplied we may contact you to request additional proof and your request may be delayed as a result. Normally there is no charge for such request but a fee may be charged if an SAR is manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive. We will respond to all valid SARs within 30 calendar days.

Your right of rectification or erasure

You have full access to your personal information via your personal user account, this includes full deletion of all of your personal data. You also have the right to request Myjob to erase your personal details completely. Any such request should be made in writing or by email and proof of identity will be required. In certain circumstances we may have the right to refuse erasure and we will inform you fully in such circumstances.
